Custom Coffee Table
This diminutive coffee table was designed to fit the cozy room in which it lives, the other furniture in the space, and the client’s eclectic tastes. Most coffee tables are more than 42” long and 24” wide, this one measures 35”x17”. The wild cherry top maintains the tree’s natural curves, yet is more refined than a live edge slab. Made from spalted and rift sawn sugar maple, the apron and pentagonal legs are splayed and raked, drawing the eye upward, and giving the table a sense of lightness revealing a Mid-Century Modern influence.
